Camping at Moorhead
We are now offering camping for adults only at Moorhead, so for all you out doors people, who enjoy a good country side view, or a night under the stars, but with the added bonus of our on site facilities, then this is the place for you.

We are currently a 60 day, adult only pop up grass pitch (non hook up) site for tents and motor homes, we have changing rooms, with a shower, toilet and hand basin, hair drying stations, a washing up area, coin operated Laundry area, Fridge freezer, drinking water and a place to charge your phone.
Although we have family friendly holiday apartments, you can be asured our camping area is a quiet and relaxing space.
Pitches are on a first come basis, and is pick your own pitch.
For campers we charge a bit extra for the swimming pool, Hot tub and gym, this can be paid for daily or you can purchase a holiday pass.
Please note the pool is open from 1 pm - 9 pm slots are one hour per day, and shared.
The pool is open to campers from 1 - 8 pm
A 1 hr daily session - up to 7 day pass is £15 per adult
Fishing for campers is charged at a day rate of £10 or 24 hours £25
All pitches are priced at £25 per night - 10m x 10m, we allow up to 2 adults, with one tent and a gazebo. or camper/motorhome and awning / gazebo. Extra cars are charged at £4 per day.
2 well behaved dogs are charged at £5 each and must be kept on a lead.
As we are in the country and our guests book for the peace and quiet, noise needs to be kept to a minimum after 10.30pm.
Sorry we do not allow group bookings.
BBq's are permitted but raised off the ground.
There is a village shop a 20 minuite walk away, and bus stop.
3 mile drive to Bucks mill, costal path, and pebble beach.
Check in is from 12 noon and check out 11 am
We have an onsite restaurant open 7 - 9 am 6.30 - 8.30 pm
Takeaway menu 5- 8.30pm
Bar 6.30 - 10 pm
The above is closed on Sundays and in quiet times may vary.

Admission to the facilities is only permitted after registering at reception.
Over 18's only.
Arrivals and departures
Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Please pick any available pitch on arrival, once unpacked please leave your car in the car park.
The site will send you further check-in information 7 days before your arrival.
Extras
Facilities/activities including Fishing are subject to extra charges payable on arrival.
Indoor Swimming Pool & Hot tub: access to the swimming pool or gym is not included in the rate and is charged £5.00 per adult per Session.
Weekly passes available at a cheeper rate.
Motorbike(s) can be brought instead of the car(s) included.
Cancellation
If you have to cancel, please advise us immediately by phone or by email
The full balance is payable 1 week prior to arrival, if cancellation is made after this you remain responsible for paying the full rental fee.
All deposits of 25% will not be refundable, unless cancelled within 48 hours. We recommend you take out your own holiday cancellation insurance.
In the unlikely event that we are forced to cancel your holiday due to circumstances beyond our control, we will notify you immediately and refund all monies paid to us. In the unlikely event that we are forced to terminate your holiday once started due to circumstances beyond our control, we will refund an appropriate proportion of monies paid to us. No further liability will be accepted.
General
Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
If conformation is not recieved prior to booking, please get in contact via our email contact form, phone or leave an answer phone message.
Bookings must not be for more than 14 consecutive nights.
Check in is between the hours of 12 - 8.00 pm check out is before 11 am. Sorry no check ins on Sundays.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
In door public areas are non-smoking.
Quiet hours must be respected between 10:30 p.m. and 7 a.m..
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.
The fishing lakes are stocked with Common carp, Mirror carp, Bream, Perch, Rudd.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests who's behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
This is a quiet site: no music is allowed.
This site Does have a catch-and-return fishing policy in place.
Please return all borrowed items from the games room in the same condition as found.
Occupancy
No hen/stag parties permitted.
The site caters for couples only - bookings from all other forms of groups are not accepted.
Pitches
You must follow the management directives when pitching your tent/unit and related equipment. All pitches are to the right of the peg.
Pool
Only park guests are authorised to use the pool.
Please note there is no lifeguard on duty.
Reception
If reception is closed on arrival: please contact the number provided on your booking confirmation.
Reception is closed on Sundays after 10.30 am
Safety
Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground.
Firearms are not permitted.
Fires or firepits are not permitted.
Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the site are unlit.
Swimming in the lake is not allowed, including dogs.
Please be mindful of other guests staying on site at all times and respect their peace and tranquillity. We have a zero tolerance of anti-social behaviour and any illegal substances. If in our opinion any person is not suitable to continue their occupancy because of unreasonable behaviour or nuisance to other guests, the contract may be discharged immediately with no refund.
Please ensure all non domestic waste is taken home including tents and camping equiptment.
Vehicles
No vehicle movement between 10:30 p.m. and 6 a.m, unless parked in the car park.
Visitors
Visitors are not permitted on site.
