A list of some of the most frequently asked questions about our holiday apartments and cottages. 
Q. What is included in my booking? 
 
A. We provide all bed linen, bath towels as well as heating and electricity throughout your stay. Although the accomodation is self-catering we provide a bin liner, toilet roll, tea towel a few dishwasher tablets and some washing up liquid just to get you started.  
 
Q. Do you accept well behaved dogs? 
 
A. We have two apartments available that you can bring your dogs with you - Bluebell . You can bring up-to two dogs per apartment. For each dog there is a small £30 additional charge. We just ask that dogs are kept on a lead within the grounds and for guests to clean up after their dogs. The local area is a wonderful place to enjoy with your dogs with plenty of countryside to explore. 
 
Q. We're planning to hold a family get together, can we book multiple cottages and are they close together? 
 
A. Our cottages and apartments are often booked in groups. The apartments and cottages are grouped by type so if you were looking to book two similar properties then they can be adjacent to each other. Otherwise there wouldn't be much walking involved between properties. 
 
Q. How do I book an apartment? 
 
A. If you're looking to book an apartment you can do so using our online booking system on our website, you can also call us at any time to book on 01237 431 916. 
 
Q. Can i do an online food shop and have it deleivered? 
 
A. Yes of course. We can recieve deliveries from all the main supermarkets including, Tesco, Sainsburys, Asda and Waitrose or we do have a small Costcutter in our village. If you decide to go food shopping after you arrive the nearest supermakret is a 20 minute drive. 
 
Q. What happens if a Covid-19 lock down returns? 
Depending on rules and restrictions future holiday dates can be booked with cancellation terms in the event that we cannot open, or that you are not allowed to travel due to the covid-19 restrictions. We offer a full refund or change of dates for all standard holiday bookings, and for those who have booked directly with us. 
For anything that does not relate to Covid-19 our normal terms and conditions apply. 
 
You can book your holiday with our standard 25% deposit with the balance due 8 weeks before arrival. 
 
Please note, that our onsite facilities are subject to evolving government restrictions and may change at any time. 
 
Every guest is sent a welcome pack prior to their holiday, information on our our covid -19 cleaning protocols, and the measures we have in place to keep our guests and staff safe, can now be requested.

Q. Is smoking allowed in your apartments or cottages? 
 
A. No. All of our properties are strictly non-smoking / Vaping 
 
Q. Is there parking available? 
 
A. We have plenty of parking on-site available for you to use. 
 
Q. Do you provide internet/Wi-Fi ? 
 
A. We provide free Wi-Fi throughout our communal areas. 
 
Q. Are BBQ's permitted on site? 
A. No sorry BBQ's are not permitted. 
 
Q. What can I do if the weather isn't good? 
 
A. All of our properties have central heating and have access to a host of on-site facilities including indoor swimming pool, gym, games room, snooker room, bar and restaurant. 
 
Q. What time is check in/check out? 
 
A. The properties are available from 4pm onwards. We require guests to check out by 10am on their departure date, this is so we have enough time to turn the cottages around for the next guests who may be arriving the same day. If you require an early check in or late check out please let us know before your stay and we will always try our best to accomodate your requests. 
 
Q. Is there any facilities for me to wash my clothes? 
 
A. There is a coin opeated washing machine and tumble dryer available in the laundry room with an iron and ironing board. 
 
Q How does the pool rota work? 
You can book a half hour slot in the morning sole use (apartments only free of charge). 
plus a one hours slot in the afternoon, shared use max 12. (apartments free of charge) (campers £5 adults £3 child). 
 
Q. Are children allowed in the gym? 
Over 16's only 
 
Q. Can children play snooker? 
Sorry the snooker is adults only and charged at £1 per 20 mins. 
 
Q Is the pitch and putt always open? 
It is open May - September weather permitting, clubs and balls an be found in the games room.. 
 
 
Q. What do i do if i need to speak to someone? 
 
A. There will always be somone on site or in the local area and we are here for you so please do not hesiate to contact us for any reason.  
 
Q. Is the complex door always open if staying in the insisde barn apartments. 
Yes it is. 
 
Q. If there is an emergency when you are closed on Sundays, who do I call ? 
Reception is open from 9 - 10.30 am on a Sunday after this the emergency number is displayed at reception. 
 
Q. For camping how many people are allowed per pitch? 
Up to 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. 
 
Q. Do you allow dogs on your camping area. 
Yes we do by arrangement, we charge £4 per day, and all dogs must be kept on leads. 
 
Q. Security cameras. 
We have cameras placed in communal areas for safety reasons. there are no cameras in private property.
